    Not pretty but works, DIY strap on steps

    Treated 2x4 cut 5 1/2" lg. 15 to 20 deg top bevel. 3/8" dial hole thru for 1100 paracord strap. Attached a 3/4" thick spacer with screws to inside top edge. Spaced them about 16" apart to climb tree (tethered entire climb).
