    Hold sticks together without metal or plastic

    I use basically use the same thing to hold my Hawk Helium sticks together rubber wire rope, the sticks stay together pretty well with just the suction cups on them, use the rubber wire just in case they would happen to pop free... https://shop.gomuddy.com/rubber-wire/

    Tree cushion for knees.

    I lean most of the time but to take a break I use a cheap mossy oak foam pad against the tree to place my knees into or to hug the tree. It rolls up easily and straps to the bottom of my backpack.

    I've used a Lewis Strapper Gear Retriever for over 20 years and have never had it tangle up one time, takes less than 10 seconds to reel back up...
