    @g2outdoors I wanted to ask about the tent sites. I called the park and was told there was tent sites and primitive sites. One has power and water and the other doesn’t. Trying to get clarity so I can pack a generator if we’re the latter.

    I’ve watched that one and the Samson Vortex rope I believe as well. It does appear to require a wire fid but I’m going to attempt to make a DIY one and just use the fid measurements for the spacing. If it becomes too difficult I’ll breakdown and buy the fid kit

    I’m a newb and before reading all the great info on here on how hard to splice the rope was I ordered 20’ to make my DIY lineman’s belt and tree tether. I’ve found enough info that I believe I can splice it but I’m not sure how big of an eye on the splice. Any suggestions? The video I’ve found...
