Next two weeks don't be afraid to string a couple sits together, or even pull an all day sit.
I also hunt behind my house. My homestead is 4 acres, 3 of which is gnarly woody brush. The back property line is a utility easement (high tension power lines) that is approx. 80 yards wide. It grows up into a nice bedding area every 3-4 years, and along with that many of the properties that border it have thick woody brush bedding areas along their property lines.
Early season it's real easy to burn it in one or two sits. But this time of year if you want to catch movement you basically have to sit all day. Camera data has shown me between Nov 1.-Nov. 15 we'll get daytime buck movement along my property line, but it can be kind of random.
I'd also worry less about the 'front' that's rolling through and just hunt when you can right now. I think people get attached to fronts and imply causation from correlation. Deer are going to simply start to move more during daylight this time of year regardless of the weather.
