2020 Pennsylvania saddlehunter meet up *POSTPONED*

Well I gotta be that guy....... with the way everything is going, coronaflu and all... do we still go forward with this?
I sent you a PM earlier asking pretty much the same thing.
A lot can happen over the next week in regards to the virus. Its really hard to know right now where things will stand from day to day.
Hey, there could be several of us who are infected, but don't yet have symptoms.
I can say this, my buddy and I are part of a group that hunt Iowa. We rotate the lease each year by who can draw a tag. This year is our turn to go. We already have reservations for the 1st week of April to go scout and hang stands. This is a very big deal to us and we've been eagerly waiting 5 years since our last turn. I am seriously thinking about limiting attending things that I don't have to.
At this point, I'm not saying that I won't attend, but it doesn't look good.
Sorry to be a wet blanket.

I would like to know who IS coming before I drive the 240 miles to get there.

Probably not a bad idea as some people will be traveling a distance. It may help determine the outcome. Please copy and add your name to the list.

The club has not mentioned anything about closing or cancelling anything at this time, I knowing the group of guys we have a doubt they would. If they do though, everyone here will be the first to know.

It does not bother me.

I was going to say this. But, it's a rapidly changing situation. First case in Washington county just got announced... I'm not too worried about myself getting it (I'm young, albeit, pudgy, so I'll probably be OK), just worried about others that are more at risk than I am.

I am sure that with some of the contaminants from the old strip mines out there, Coronavirus probably can't survive. :tearsofjoy:

Now that the Columbus show is cancelled I may try to make it and bring some Tethrd gear for y’all to try if that’s ok?

That's great! I was only about 25 minutes away (out of a 2 hour drive) from the Lansing show when it got canceled yesterday so it would be great to check out the Phantom again

I am still planning on coming. Gotta meet @DanO and get the goods. I just ask that nobody coughs or sneezes on me.

That said, I was already a closet germaphobe before this pandemic made headlines. I'm hoping that, if nothing else, it inspires everyone to step up their hygiene game and quit being so gross. o_O:D

To be honest we can spend about 90% of the time outdoors too. There is plenty of outlets and space under the pavilion for crockpots and roasters and what not. I still have to try to get some wood stocked up for the fire pit that is next to it. Look like it might be a little chilly that day. We also have a big charcol grill outside. If people plan on using that let me know or grab a large bag or two of charcol. So unless you have to use the facilities and you don't wanna drop it over a log, you don't even have to go inside if you don't want too.
