Nothing to brag about but I did find one.

Little yearling antler. Base isn’t any thicker than a nickel. Wish I could find a fresh one!

Got out for a couple hours yesterday. Wife found the biggest of the year. I found a nice 3 pt from last yr that the squirrels found first. Found a base to a real nice one that was chewed almost gone too. Also found a really strange lookin 5 point. Looks like a baby arm. Saw quite a few bucks still holding and a piebald. I can’t take credit for the find and the training was too easy to even take credit for that. But I did give him a ride.
That's a great one.

I pulled 5 trail cam cards yesterday. Had one shed buck, one half rack, everything else still carrying both sides. Found one dead head.

Had this guy on camera right in front of my tree stand 1/2 hour after daylight the morning after my brother and I spent an hour stomping around looking for a doe I gave a haircut to the evening before. Didn’t sit there the next morning cause I figured we boogered that spot up with all our scent. 44 years hunting these things and still learning I guess

Pictures yesterday say they're still holding.

Doing the math suggests its on time......1 inch per day over 4 months equals around 120.....which is close to typical for a mature deer in DE.

For those deadheads you guys recently found, do you think its winter kill or wounding loss?

how are you New England fellas finding these consistently?
I have had no problem finding sheds in NJ/ PA but rarely find any since moving to NH with the lower density.
I scout a healthy amount in the off season
