2024 Gear thread

You dissect too much but I’ll bite… EVII has been excellent in the winter. I wouldn’t trade my incinerator for anything. It blends better rubbing some dirt on it and toning down the colors.
My favorite Sitka is subalpine. I doubt deer can tell much difference between it and EVII but pictures of me in the woods wearing subalpine, I disappear.
That forest camo they had 10 years ago was blue. Horrible color pattern for whitetail.

I’ve experience with EV1, 2, &2+…..

The only difference in EVI (Forest) and EVII that I’ve experienced is EVI is better materials and construction. Both have blue tones as a matter of fact. Also I’ve Ground Forest, which has no blue and EV1 quality. They had that 10 years ago too.

Kuiu just dropped some new stuff including a new proximity LT jacket

@Fl Canopy Stalker is that the standard for testing a platform? Applying the load to the center of the standing surface? I would think they would apply the load out on the furthest edge
as of now, there still isn’t an actual standard for a saddle platform. I am assuming they are using the static loading test they use for a standard hang on tree stand. I’ll have to take a look at the connection points again and see where they hook it at.

IMG_0296.jpegIMG_0295.jpegIMG_0294.pngThe guys at Swamp N Stomp have had a concept pattern that they have worn for several years that is sort of like the broadside camo concept. Only it wasn’t bright white for the sky and it was pine trees. The only issue is their clothes were not super breathable or comfortable. Enter Florida Camo. Their clothes are amazingly comfortable and breathable, especially great for warm weather hunts. They have taken over the SNS high pine pattern, made the sky line a little duller (almost grey) and cleaned up the tree imaging. I absolutely love this pattern because it breaks your outline up by using the actual sky that an animal sees from below… so I had to break down and order a set. This is gonna be my new go to for elevated hunting.

I put in an order for a Tactisaddle treestand harness to use with a mini Drey. I've thought of getting another saddle of a different style, but can't argue with the versatility and comfort of a nice harness and a Drey.

Forgot to add that this will be my second one. I lucked into a Tactisaddle harness here on the classifieds that met my specs. I have an original Drey in ASAT 3d that is attached to that one. The new one will get use with the mini.

This reminds me of vertigo grey. That was hands down my favorite camo pattern of all time.

Correct me if I missed it but is that 300$ for a Chinese pack?

I have the first lite phase jacket, thermic jacket, core bibs and primer puffy vest sitting in my cart. Someone talk me off the edge or give a discount code to make it less painful!!!!!
