I was there Sunday - it was packed. Didn't buy anything other than $100+ in food for my family. Going back solo tomorrow so I can dig in deeper as well as not get caught buying stuff.

I got to play with the new arsenal platforms, they were neat. I'm tempted to buy one. Also plan to revisit the Jakt booth and snag their sling. I know I missed a lot on Sunday between the crowd and my family.

How was the parking situation? Would you recommend buying a ticket online or at the booth?

Opening weekend I always go straight to the Elmerton Ave satellite parking $10 card only and it's a fast free bus ride over. They have a line of buses waiting for you.

The bad part was that when I got dropped off the line for people who already had tickets was wrapped around the building. The line to enter for people who needed tickets was empty. The good news is that the pre purchased ticket line did move really fast. There is no discount to pre buying tickets, so it's just a gamble. I'm guessing when I go back tomorrow there will be no line and I'm assuming I will be able to park on site, which I believe is also $10 card only.

Going to be there Saturday. Hoping to get there by 8:30. Hoping the crowd should be a little lighter but that the Archery Hall vendors didnt pack up yet.

Hey guys! Come see me in the outdoor products hall booth 4138, we are called Tusca Outdoors. I’ll pretty much be there almost every day except Monday (it’s a grind lol). I love talking saddlehunting for a change of pace so I love to see guys from the forum. Ask for Josh if you swing by.

Shameless plug for a product we just launched yesterday and will have at the show :
Josh,

My wife said she just talked with you, she works for PFSC. Said she was talking to you about our grouse hunt this fall. She sent me a picture of your hitchhiker and said she thinks she solved our camping issues and wants one. I am headed out to visit with her over the next few days, I will stop by and check it out. If you see her again wish her a happy birthday!

Went on Saturday, only ended up staying for 1.5-2 hours or so. Last year I went in the afternoon on the first day and the crowds were tolerable. Got there around opening time this year and it was insane. I went to the booths that had stuff I wanted to check out and then got out of there, I don’t like crowds enough to deal with trying to squeeze between groups of people that think it’s a good idea to stand in a circle and have a conversation in the intersections of the aisles.

Ended up buying a Maven RS1.2 though. Wanted to see how the reticle looked on 2.5x (it’s FFP) before I dropped the coin on it. Turns out it’s completely usable, unlike some of the more target/PRS-oriented FFP scopes. Of the two deer I killed with a rifle this past season one was at 401 yards and the other was at 14 yards, so need something that works across the mag range. Excited to get it mounted and start shooting with it.

Went yesterday and it wasn't as crowded as it is on the weekends which was great. Stop in the Tethrd booth and had a pleasant talk with Greg. If your out that way stop in and see the folks from Tethrd they make some great products for saddlehunting.

Was there today. Surprised at the long line to enter again. had to park at the satellite lot.

Maybe it wasn't as busy as it was Sunday but it was still pretty busy.

probably, but it doesn't open till 10. if you get off at the Cameron street exit and the line is backed up to enter, just to go Elmerton. Trust me it's quick.

I arrived at the Elmerton lot at 9:45am, arrived to the complex at 10am, got in the end of the line maybe 10:05 and I was probably inside by 10:10. Once the doors open, the line moves fast.

Awesome, she was telling about your grouse hunts, sounds like you guys have a great time! I’ll look forward to meeting you soon

So.....I cut myself trying to separate a Tethrd onestick from the pack....they are light but man....hard to take apart.
I had the same thought when I got mine. They get easier as you get them broken in though. I know a few folks used a little Vaseline or something similar on them at the beginning though to help that out.
