In the pic, the tag end is the right and the tree would be on the left. Pull the tag end and the tender moves up against the prussic and pushes it towards the tree..making the rope smaller. To make it longer, just un weight the prussik and move it away from the tree....both ways only require 1 hand.

Short video. It’s not noiseless as incorrectly say in the video but I’m shaking it pretty hard to get any noise. Key to Kong’s is an oval biner.

I've been using the oplux for a linesman and tether for a couple weeks now. On the tether I've been using a ct rollnlock and a ropeman on the linesman. I have not stealth stripped anything as of yet so can't speak to how quiet it will be but I'm guessing it'll be quiet enough in the end. It's definitely not the stiffest rope out there for your linesman but I haven't had any issues with it compared to the bluewater assaultline I was using. I think that the sheath will hold up for a quite a long time as long as when you release the tension on the ropeman2 you're not dragging the sheath with it. Just gotta make the release and then pull. It really does roll up into a tiny little package. Only thing that it lacks is splice ability. Might be easier to just go the wild edge route and buy a sewn piece. Knots are still pretty tiny. For now it'll be what I use in the woods when the time comes and I'll continuously try new stuff as it is brought to my attention. I'll be ordering beal jammy's to back up the ascenders as well.

Not yet, have some on the way from @DanO - plan to make a backup bridge to my Mantis, and also as a backup tether (secondary tether to attach to my riggers belt). Wll be a few more weeks before my Mantis arrives.

@Oakridge - how are you attaching your OpLux bridge to the saddle, more specifically, what knots are you using?

Halyard hitch directly to the bridge loop. It cinches down and you can position it where you want it on the loop.

Fixed loop tied on both ends - do you have to use a stopper knot with a Halyard.

I personally don’t but I would encourage anyone else too use one until they are fully confident in there own setup.

Understand. So advantage of Halyard vs. F8 is less bulk and secure to specific spot on loop.
Guess for now I'll just stick to a F8 and stopper.

I could not get Dano's tender to work for me. Seems too short for the Jammy. I have already broken two. I really wanted the prusik and tender combo to work for me but it hasn't. I will have to try the ropeman 2 or Kong Duck.

Strange. Works fine for me. Kong Duck should work for you....

Yes. Bought the 8.5’ rope from WE with the 6” sewn eye. Added a Kong and carabiner, adjustable bridge that doubles as a 2nd lineman’s belt.

Ropeman 2 will work. Gotta be a smidge gentle when disengaging so you dont drag the teeth into the sheath but I've had zero issues with it. The sheath on the oplux is relatively tough but it's a little softer than the assaultline I had been using. Ease of use goes from maybe a 10 with the assaultline to a 9.5 on the oplux. Not a huge deal.
