As far as kong duck to carabiner noise I just put some heat shrink over my biner and it's is silent now.

Try 1/2" brass tack rings and some small cordage, I use this coradage https://ripstopbytheroll.com/collections/non-spliceable-cordage/products/1-8-mm-drawcordI haven't gotten a tender to work with beal jammy (prussic) and Sterling HTP 9mm . Tried DanO's and some DIYs. Maybe a Shizzl would work? I mean it works but the Jammy bites down hard and it is tough to move.
With regard to Kong Duck, I wrap as much of the carabiner as I can in "vet tape".
Yeah, that seems about equivalent to what I did with this shackle which is about 3/4" inside diameter, I used paracord.Try 1/2" brass tack rings and some small cordage, I use this coradage https://ripstopbytheroll.com/collections/non-spliceable-cordage/products/1-8-mm-drawcord
Anyone using OpLux as a bridge?

Yes I am on my mantis, adjustable with a beal jammy. It works good.
I am using oplux and a jammy as an adjustable bridge. It binds up really tight and is hard to unload. I have a shizll I can try with it.
I wish I could find a 5 or 6 mm sewn eye to eye cord to use with a distel hitch on oplux.
I use the duck, but I am also thinking it might not be so bad to just use the jammy without a tender. We'll see.I am going to try using a micro pulley as a tender for my Jammy/Oplux as I have not been able to get anything else to work.If this does not work, I am going with a ropeman 2. If I dont like that i will try "the duck". This experimenting is getting expensive. I have already tried several DIY methods as well.
...Two 8mm ropes with sewn eyes (1 oplux and 1 lone wolf), 2 Kong ducks, 2 oval carabiners, and a 24” 8mm looped prussik that I can turn into a short bridge if needed...
Is the old LW tether a 8mm line and what type of weight can it handle. I was thinking of using that with a Beal Jammy or switch to Oplux because it is a better rope to use. Would appreciate your thoughts.Nice! Where did you get the Oplux with sewn eyes?
Wildedge
In this case, they are more of a nice to have than need to have due to the small knots using this rope, at least for me. Not like a typical 11.3 mm rope.I saw the sewn Oplux tether from WE. But I'm looking for a 35' length with a sewn eye to use as a rappel line. Can't find a source. Might just have to settle for a fig8 loop knot on the end instead of the eye...
I'm with @Bwhana on this one. I think you are pissing money away paying for sewn eyes on OpLux. You really have to see it knotted in hand to realize that knots are so realitively small on this stuff. To each their own though. In this case, they are more of a nice to have than need to have due to the small knots using this rope, at least for me. Not like a typical 11.3 mm rope.
