Advice on muddy pro sticks

Do you think that with a 3 step aider and 4 sticks I could reach 15-18'??

I have muddy pro. 18” between steps. If you keep your spacing the same, you can use a moveable aider or 4 attached aiders and get 4’6” per step

4’6” top step
3’ bottom step
1’6” aider
0 ground

So, 4.5 feet at 4 sticks gives you 18 feet. Every step is about the same, consistency and no acrobatics using a multi step aider. Whatever you choose, god luck.

This is a muddy pro with a fixed 3 step tubular webbing aider. 55.85 oz or 3.49lbs. Last year I carried 3 and had no problem getting over 20’. If I stretched I could get my platform to 24’. I loved the cam cleat and the folding double steps but hated the weight.

This might be a crazy question but has anyone ever put those folding muddy double steps on a short stick of aluminum with a versa button???

Yes. I put them on a 1/16 tube 20” long seems like is saved maybe 1/2lb?

Yea. I do that with 3 sticks. I have. Single loop aider on 1 of the sticks. And a double loops aider at the bottom stick. My first stick gets me 7ft off the ground. My single loop aiders get me 5ft a stick more.

Yea I have 4 sets and use them very different than most folks. I have 2 older sets and 2 newer sets. The orders weigh less. You can tell just by picking them up. I have 2 sticks with double aiders on them. That’s my designated bottom sticks. I have the remaining 14 sticks with a single aider onthem and use them in pair of 2’s. That gives me 7 stand locations that I can leave in the woods before I have to start taking sticks down. The 2 bottom with double aiders always come in and out of the woods with me.

I use a 5 step aider on bottom. I can barely reach the cam cleats when I get it set up as high as I can then it’s 2- 3 step aiders on the next 2 sticks. I set my steps about 18-24” above the last step and step up to them. I consistently see 25’

Yea I make my aider so long I have to reach with my knee to get on the step. I can’t go foot to step it’s too far.

Wouldn’t that be the deal? The sticks and amsteel. You’d exchange weight with the belt buckle for the easier to use cam cleat. The probably wouldn’t stack as well tho. Maybe have to put them in a stick quiver or something.

They had a certain color of rope. I called about the older set I had and sent them pictures. They said I was good.

I just looked at the site, my sticks match both pictures for orange rope and the single metal tab.
