Aero Hunter Kestrel Flex

I called and canceled my order, then 3 days later I got an email that said,”item has been shipped.” I will have my new flex kit on Tuesday.

Dan

I got my flex yesterday. All I have to say is,”wow”. That thing is built like a tank. The reason I went with Aerohunter is because they make rock climbing harnesses. With that thought in mind. Who better to buy from than a company that builds harnesses for rock climbing. I’m really looking forward to trying it out.

Dan

I plan on using some type of screw in steps (likely 2 on the opposite side from my platform) when im on private land, in order to move around the tree better.

The question is it better than a Trophyline.
I know everyone has their own opinion and feel is subjective but if you give me a banana and a pepper I will tell you which one is sweet.
It seems like you can't get an answer from anyone with a YouTube channel.
They have tried them and they are all good, which is likely the case but to get them to say, hands down buy this for better construction, comfort or whatever reason ain't happening.

I have the ambush pro and will be using it until my flex kit arrives to compare. But its hard to flat out say A over B bc every persons body is different and what they find comfortable is different.

Food for thought - waive liability by opening the package
https://trophyline.com/pages/safety-warning

That, along with offshore production, give me real pause on the new trophyline with regards to safety.

I understand why they are doing this, CYA. I’m gonna venture to say if someone (God forbid) gets hurt from a saddle, it will be because it was modified with some DIY part.

I believe you are correct. If it kills them that information will probably never get passed along here. I haven't modified anything but if I did some of the mods on here and that was the reason I died my wife or nobody else would post anything on this site or anywhere else. I would be willing to bet that is the same for 99.9% of the people on here. It wouldn't surprise me if someone already has died while using a saddle. Either from a bad modification, unsafe climbing practice, or just being careless.

Or someone screws up clipping in, doesn't inspect their gear, screws up a knot, has a tree fall, etc. Or falls while climbing.

Or if substandard, not passing QC, threading breaks free and one is paralyzed, too bad. You opened the package.

Not saying it will happen with TL or any other vendor, but anything could happen. Especially with the rush to get products out.

The hypocrisy.
If we all got rid if everything made outside the USA we would be standing baked sending smoke signals.
You should worry more about a takada airbag sending shrapnel in your face than the hands that stiched the saddle.
Harley Davidson quit giving tous at it's Franklin location years ago because every other box said made in Tiawan. If they only used the American made parts they wouldn't even have enough for a rolling chasis.
