And Fred Bear was a cool guy, but I trust him to be fair and unbiased about archery about as much as I trust today's saddle hunting business owners to be the same. He was blowing some smoke...he just looked classier doing it.
Sure there are tons of procrastinators out there, the fact I sold 120+ rifle licenses on the friday before opener is a testament to that.
I'd consider myself well within reason to say that a bad bow hunter is less dangerous to the public than a bad gun hunter. I've never been nearly shot by another bow hunter. I'd rather not be in the woods with a rifle hunter after the experiences I've had. If MN went to an all weapons season, I would give up hunting tbh
