Arsenal Platform

Oh yeah, none of the pics I've seen so far do justice to how thin it looks and feels in person. It's nuts!
For sure! I would say in a snob about machining type stuff, and I think it's worth mentioning again, the finish on those things is fantastic.

@Plebe , how big are your boots?

I actually dont know what the material was for sure but pretty sure it was aluminum.

Yeah, I wear 10.5 shoes and was wearing sneakers at the show. The RZR felt a little small due to how shallow it is. I thought it was just big enough to get my feet on, something to stand or lean on, but not big enough to stand and turn on. The magnum looks a lot bigger than the regular one, but wasn't much deeper. That said the extra width made a big difference vs the smaller size, turnability on the magnum felt a lot like the standard predator platform feels. I didn't notice any noise from the traction but the shoes I wore have smooth traction similar to converse chuck taylors.

Thanks much for the feedback.

Personally, I prefer a deeper platform due to my size. But I have smaller brothers, one who is making a trip out west and might benefit from the packability of these platforms, given unknown environs.

I like a min 14" deep platform, but have a big boot. Still, I can turn on a Fix, at 12.5". Maybe my brother(s) with shorter feet have an advantage with the RZR Magnum, idk.

If it's lousy noisy, that'd be a deal breaker. Not fond of CN manufacturer at all, at all. But for my brother, maybe it's market's best platform for his needs.

Thought you were going to say guiness should be poured out.

There’s a local brewery here, 13 Stripes, that made a beer called “Hero of Two Worlds”, tasted like a YooHoo and was about 9% ABV. Disturbing combo because that stuff was so damn good, lol.

ETA: just looked it up and it was 10% ABV

I was close to buying one but then walked away only to come back 5-minutes later and they sold out. They’re 15% off on the website right now.

I run the Cruzr Seeker and love the angled end of it. I really want to order one of these to compare it to the seeker. But as @Plebe stated, it seems too shallow for larger shoe sizes. Even the full size seeker is almost two inches deeper than the Magnum. Plus I’ve grown accustomed to the angled edge on the seeker. Hmmm. Guess I could order one than return it or catch and release it.

Angled platforms sure ease ankle fatigue. I'd love to have a platform with angles over the V. I think there's a simple Pursuit Outdoors style add on that could be fantastic in this respect. Like, snaps onto the post of a .5, etc. If the X-Wing wings were angled, that would've been money.

I digress, but I like where you're heading with this C&R idea, lol.

There's probably a Bud Light comment in there someplace, but since this isn't a political forum I'll just leave that out there.

I'm quite curious to see how this works in the winter, with icy trunks and boots. Might be just the ticket on a late season muzzleloader hunt. Especially if I stack 3 of them together to 1-stick with.

I really like what I've seen so far from this company. As a machinist I've been waiting for a company to put something out that LOOKS perfect. It also seems most people won't have to buy an aftermarket attachment and won't need to stealth strip em, maybe. Those two things save a bit of money for us to buy other gear later lol. And kudos to them for having stuff ready instead up gassing us up all year, delay it a couple times, then finally send something out to some of us. We'll have to see how all their new gear works out, but I like how they're doing business, so far.

Nothing against them but let's see what shipped stuff looks like, after all they are being made in China. I am happy to see somebody finally using 7075 class metal. China has a bad habit of cheapening stuff up once in production. I hope it works out for them. I would have much rather seen it machined in the USA.

It would be a $600 platform.
