Beast sticks vs lwcg sticks

I also have own ever product that lwcg has made besides the long sticks and a pocket arm. I love the ambush platform. It is my favorite platform. I like the 1.0 and .5 for different reason and will keep both. I just didn’t like the doubles. Believe me I wanted too.

And everyone is different

Yep. This is so true.

If low profile packing is your top priority, LWCG 2ble steps check that box. Unmatched even, when combined with a LWCG stand.

If rock solid stability with any attachment method is your priority, however, there is plenty to show they underperform.

My question is, are they pretty stable with a cam buckle or does the height of the connection eliminate them as a safe-when-used-cautiously option, no matter the connection?

Its obvious where your from lol.

i do agree. beast stuff is absolutely awesome gear.

it will probably blow everything away.
Im not disagreeing with you.
i have beast sticks but hate how they stack.
beast sticks had few issues bending at first too but they fixed quickly.
also most all companies go through testing stages snd have problems with merchandise they need to fix.
I am not a tester for anyone so i dont know where that label came from lmao

if you sell a product you will never please everyone.
problem is everyone has something different work for them so it varys so much its pointless to label a product or company.
point is they just diddnt work for you
the price of the beast stand is ridiculous
but if you want it and got it get it.
your money. Im too dam cheap for that.
i got lucky traded some stuff i don't use, sold some stuff and freed up the money for 1.0.
i thnk that snd the beadt srtup would be s 2 lb difference. Not enough imho to spend extra.
i love my 1.0. And probably eventually will sell all my saddle stuff now that i have a quality awsome stand.
i do admit like the saddle ROS but for short sits.
i hunted a platform this year and kept think i should have just brought my stand.

Use what makes you happy. Yeah I wish the beast sticks stacked alittle tighter. Yes they had a few parts bend but took care of the issue quickly. But they are what they are. Just simple and work great. I have adapted my stuff to work with them and doesn't cause me any greif. The only big problem I have with lwcg gear is they don't properly test stuff before they release it. I won't be their guinea pig. Not for that kind of money. Man I waste enough money on my own with out somebody else helping me.

I ended up keeping my ambush because I liked the size but I cut the thing apart and rewelded it to fix the the things I didn't like about it. I ordered a beast stand will be using it with my latitude. See how it goes may like it enough the platform doesn't get used much.

The Pre-Cruzr-Seeker Ambush Mod. That was bold and awesome! Can't wait to see how you cut up your Beast Stand. :) You're a mad scientist, meant in a truly complimentary fashion.

Thanks, don't think I will be cutting up the beast stand. Those guys might hunt me down and hang me from a cross if I do that. For the guys that haven't seen it.Screenshot_20200809-215008.pngScreenshot_20200809-214911.pngScreenshot_20200809-214841.pngScreenshot_20200809-214805.png

I am Totally comfortable with the Lone Wolf double steps, climbing up, climbing down, no issues. Packability is unparalleled. I j-hook my steps to the back side of my seat, Which allows more room for my backpack and any other gear I might be Carrying. I am seriously thinking about getting out of the saddle game completely, and get back to the stand. I wish they had this set up 30 years ago. I would’ve never got involved with the saddle hunting. I also own beast sticks, and they are awesome. But to bulky.

i love that setup.
A small bag for the new stand is in the works too for minimalists like me.
i cant wait for that
That rod for beast stand is i think a horrible idea. The dound it made on the video reminded me of how dinner was called in the old west with a triangle eons ago lol
What do ya do with it while hunting?

Honestly If I were to use an Assault setup with the Stick talons, I'd prefer the original Lone Wolf stick over the Beast sticks. The reason is packability and that is high on my priority list for how and where I hunt.

I have the original Lone Wolf 8.5 and a LWCG.5 with mini sticks. If I use the 8.5 assault, I use 4 mini sticks and use two of their J-hooks to attach them to that stand. This is the best compromise for straight up packability.

The LWCG sticks pack flat and make a world of difference compared to any other stick setup I've used in the past. I can carry in my sticks and cold weather clothes with not nearly the same bulk as I used to have; In addition, the perceived weight is so much less having all of that weight right up against your back.

The .5 and minis is the ultimate combo though. Really tough to beat unless I'm hunting all dayers.

I do love the Talons though. They were my go to until I sold my OG lone wolfs.

I’m not a fan of the fixed double step sticks for the same reason - they just don’t pack well. I have modded my original LW’s until there isn’t much LW left to them!!!! I love the side stacking ability so much I just deal with the fiddle factor of swiveling steps & loosening bolts.

My only knock on the LWCG system is the pack shelf seat & that you can’t run it flat with their stick nesting design. I need my setup to be narrow but also pack flat. I find myself twisting between high stem count areas & sometimes crawling through vine tangles.

How do you now climb with the LWCG system? Do you leave a couple sticks on the stand for the climb?

Thats exactly why i posted my question lol.
i git 3 double steps on the ways so we shall see how i make out with them.
i will say ill be beating the hell out of them fir a few months.
I plan on doing alot of scouting and marking trees and also setting up and down my setup in the trees i choose so ehen the season comes im not guessing stand position or branches in way etc
I am a one trip up guy.
i use 3 sticks 3 aiders. I set a stick and have tent tie downs on each hip to attach sticks.
i grab one as i climb super simple. Quiet and easy.

I appreciate all the input guys.
and i will be vigorously testing my new sticks and seeing if the doubles or beast works the best.
i will keep ya’ll updated with a video i do in few months.
Also i want to say.
To the ones who for some reason think ive bashed the beast or disrespected Mr Infalt.
that was not my intention and sorry some of you think that.
Ive had some pm’s from beast guys and they have zero clue whats going on so they of course jump yo conclusions.
Even though i dont belong to beast forums or pages i do not dislike the beast or Dan infalt.
I learned alot from them
I think Dan of a social media friend.
we have had a recent disagreement and thats between me and him.
I love his equipment and have used all of it.
its great stuff.
Ive owned all of it. Its great.
Dan is a super knowledgeable and successful hunter. He deserves all the success he is getting.
Do i agree how some things have gone with beadt products or content?
No but who the hell am i. Dan can run his buisness the way he wants to. Ive never been affiliated any way buisness or financially with the beast just a fan.
i meani have my own youtube channel and social media. Pages that pushed Dans content for few years now. Nit a thing an anti would do lol.
I have expressed my feelings to Dan and thats between me and him.
Ive also disappointed and disagreed with how THP is going. Its my right. My opinion is my own. I share it with some and don't with some.
I am in school and i am marketing major so
i know how things work.
just because i feel like i do about certain brands or groups doesn't mean idont respect or like them.
disagreement doesn't always bring hate.
at least it shouldn't
Stay safe peeps head high and aim small
