Start with about 40in is typically more than enough to make eye to eye hitch cords or a continous loop with the Sterling TRC.

I got my first saddle in (Kestrel Flex) and it came with the web bridge. Great saddle, but hate the bridge.

Anyone experimenting/experimented with sterling oplux?
Ive seen a few amsteel options but kinda iffy on it.

I’m thinking the same thing, I have a webbing bridge on my kite and I’m not a huge fan. Trying to make sure I wanna go a different route before i go to cutting

I mean we use it to connect to the Oplux tether...
True, but if the other end of the Oplux isn't tied to the bridge loop, as in when only the TRC is attached to the plate on the Recon, you're relying on the strength of the TRC.

It may very well be fine due to the TRC being doubled in a loop. However, I'm just trying to think it all the way through as I'm considering a Recon and wanted an easily adjustable bridge for SRT/rappel.

I didn’t care for the recon for rope climbing or rappelling. Hard to keep on your hips without sliding up or around. I didn’t feel secure. Again, before the recon apostles attack I am going to reiterate that I only felt that way climbing rope, rappelling and one sticking.

Was that with using the leg loops?

So I was thinking about this design further. I don't know if the length would work out right, but this may be another possible option for the prusik.

Here's one option for a cheap, quick, no sew bridge change out.

I love my adjustable rope bridge.

10mm main line, 8mm prusik. Put prusik on rope, then girth hitch prusik to bridge loop. (You will have to pass the whole rope thru)

Then on the other side, tie a girth hitched knot. Step by step photos here:

H2 triad adjustable bridge. Just got mine and put it on. Haven't been in a tree with it yet though. Looks like it will be awesome.
