Cat Trax climbing sticks

Single step and no stand off clearance….. add in the 14” are light, but the 17” is basically the same weight as the Tethrd One…. Why can’t these guys build sticks with some actual stand off clearance

They haven’t given me any reason for consumer optimism with that headache of a video. Without more info, these read more DIY than product of experts in CF.

I wouldn’t hope on these. Ball is in their court to demonstrate some professional expertise on the build.

The Video implies they would be available today… I don’t see anyplace to order them?

No I really don’t… looks like I can just buy some Novix sticks and order some carbon fiber tubing from dragonplate and have the same thing

There’s more to it than that of course. But, if they can’t show they know that, why should we think that’s not what they think?

I saw the Cat Trax at the GAOS. Super nice guy but he’s a one man operation figuring it out. It’s more of a diy look and feel. They function exactly like novix minis. I was hoping the price tag would be better. We talked for a long time and he’s taking orders at the show but more looking for feedback…seems like hes sort of figuring it out as he goes. He did say he had them 3rd party tested and approved.

I’m not attacking anyone here but, Everyone says that they get 3rd party tested, but no one shows the reports or the videos of them being tested.. and I don’t see where the site says TMA approved….. what 3rd party and standard were they tested to because the weight rating says 275lbs…. I always want to ask guys that

3rd party tested by little Johnny in the backyard.

Same. Do you have any other info or updates about them?

Priced at $110 each.

There is a video on their site and one from the ata on YouTube. Other than that I haven’t seen much. They will be pricey $125-150 each
So on the website Cat Trax is only $109.99 per 14” stick and it’s an extra $7.99 for an attachment method. If you use the stacking clips it’s another $9.99! Also worth mentioning we must be missing something because the website has my favorite phrase on it
