Ha! None whatsoeverNice. Any nut crunch with that setup?
Easy to do. 1/8 wire loop is what I'm using.I need to add a handle like yours to my stick. Might be able to get some more height per set.

Man, you beat me to it. Great toe hook. Still loving the modified hawk helium you gave me. I am going to add a grab cable this weekend. Even when I toe hook it, I still can't quite reach it sometimes.Did a quick video of the short stick/1 stick climbing method.

Sure. I just bent over the last 1/4 inch on either side of a 1inch fender washer and used that as a clamp.I like the retractable one you made for the helium stick. If it’s not hassle, mind posting some close pics of the attachment to get a better idea? I’m using the top of my shorty as a platform and would rather be able to push the handle down at height.

Crimped the ends of the wire and filed down the crimp. That allows the crimp to easily pass the other bolts. Passed the top standoff bolt between the "loop". Just push or pull to extend or retract. How did you attach the wire handle to the stick?

Man, That looks awesome. Great job. If it had a 45° mini foot rest coming off the bottom double step, it would be good on the feet after a few hours. Just my 1 cent. Not worth much. LOLGot my mini stick assembled and ready to slap on the tree. Wire loop probably could be longer but we'll see how it does
I know what you mean, I've wondered about slapping a scout on the bottom in place of the step.Man, That looks awesome. Great job. If it had a 45° mini foot rest coming off the bottom double step, it would be good on the feet after a few hours. Just my 1 cent. Not worth much. LOL
Oh, or something like the WE purch that could be attached at hunt height. Man, I wish I could build stuff.
I was considering it, but thought of 4 down sides:Who is going to be the first to slap a scout on a shorty stick? I’d do it if I had the stuff. What a package!
