Maybe @g2outdoors can shed some light on that. I will say that the Phantom is a lot "cleaner" in its stiching. Thanks for the comparison @onestringer!
 
2 potential situations with the mesh...

The mesh doesn't stretch very much by nature, but does have a bit of give and it is directional, just less pronounced than you see in fleece. It could be the orientation of the mesh is different on the saddles.

The other is that there are different specs on the mesh out there, and some are stiffer and less supple than others, so they feel more stretchy from the start. It could be either, or a combination of these two factors affecting Sally vs Phantom.

Bahahahahaha how’d I miss this?
No I forgot I’d loaned a buddy my H2 to try (with my tether/LB) so I’m having to rig one up. I have the rope laying around from DanO just hadn’t gotten around to it. I’ll try her out today and try to get her in the mail as well.
