Community Saddle (Where's Sally?)

Ok finally got a sec to look through these pics & gather my thoughts. Overall execution of a clone saddle based on detective work excellent!!!! I can’t compare this to the phantom b/c that wouldn’t be accurate. I did like this way more than the mantis, it wanted to stay in place & not ride up. I don’t really think I would opt for the adjustable bridge loops, feels like it wants to pop off. I’d rather find natural center......just me but I could feel the difference b/w high /low placement. I did really like the bridge it’s an improvement over the stock mantis bridge. Liked the shape of the saddle, good cup. Not a fan of ultra light saddle design, don’t care for the mesh material very similar to the mantis which was one of my knocks on it ( feels really floppy, I know that’s intentional. I like more structure like a kite or new TL. Ambush material. All in all great build just too minimal for me.... btw I’m 6’6” 297 oh btw almost ran out of belt....

So you’re saying they call you BIGterp for a reason

Nice! What app are you guys using to put those large pictures up?
So far it sounds like the shape is on.

Gents,
Sally is gonna make a detour back to me. I forgot the stitches in the bottom end of the linemans loops that hold the plastic strips. Not structural. They just give the linemans loops some spine. Dont want the strips to pop out. Cant have floppy linemans loops! As soon as I get her I will sew them in and get it back out to the next guy!

Make sure you update that detour on the map:p

Sally is going to get in her first hunt this afternoon before heading back to @always89y for a pit stop.

We had temps in the high 60s low 70s in North Alabama last week, and today it’s 30 and we are getting snow flurries. Should be a good day.

Get em! Had some of my best hunting while stationed at Redstone. I was teaching at the EOD school and had full access to TA21 behind Mckinnely Range back in the day. Across from Pond 28 I believe. I spent 3 years chasing a monster that I never connected with!
