I don't think such a pricing disparity is realistic in this industry, for anything well made anyway.

ever see the old Cold Steel videos where they hang from the handles of their knives where the handles are made of fiberglass reinforced nylon? or put like 400 lbs on the handle even

stuff bends like crazy before it breaks.....I would 100 percent use FRN sticks

Those were the best marketing videos ever. The only thing that beats them now is Flex Seal commercials.

Has anyone made a stick of Flex Seal yet? Probably under a pound and stronger than Wolverines claws.
 
Are the steps timber ninja carbon fiber sticks FRP/GRP? They remind me of nylatron
