Cruzr Mini Seeker platform?

I really like mine…. Hunted out of it all last week in Kentucky. Took a couple sits getting used to the narrowness compared to the regular Seeker. The only downside is there’s barely enough room to stand with your back to the tree. It can be done, it’s just a little tricky compared to a larger platform. But as far as normal situations, facing the tree and working the angles around one, it’s awesome.

Even though the casting isn’t perfect, I think I’m gonna like mine. Unfortunately I sprayed mine with a little camo paint to knock down on the silver and it still stinks too bad. Working on killing that scent to put it in action. Gonna pair it with the Gen3 One Sticks. Should be a nice mobile setup.

That’s the exact set up that I’m using. Roughly 8 pounds for the mini, 4 One sticks and a 3 step aider. I don’t see how it gets much lighter…

That’s what I’m thinking. I have 4 of the One sticks too. Need to get the two step aider. I have one I can use until I can order the permanent one for those sticks. This setup may give my one stick (as in a single stick) a break.

My set-up as well. My Mini-seeker comes in mid week. The One Sticks are new to me, been using Beast Sticks for the past 2 seasons. The weight difference is significant, saving about a 1 lb. per stick. I am struggling a bit with the G-C-ONE 3-step aider. I may move to a 1 step Amsteel aider for each stick....still trying to figure it out. Plan on using the Mini-Seeker with 4 position ROS.

I have the seeker. I wear size 14W boots. Is the mini worth trying out for those of you who have one for a person with larger feet?
I wear a size 13 and I can stand on the mini. Obviously it’s not as big as the Seeker (width), but I believe it is slightly deeper (13.17”) which is good for big feet. I have not had any long sits yet, as I am currently hunting a few presets. One of which is the Trophyline EDP which is also 13” deep. I have logged many hours on the EDP and the Mission. Both of those platforms work for me which leads me to believe the Mini is going to work well too. I’ll know more this coming week when I put it to use. But with a size 14w, and if platform weight is not an issue, the slightly larger platforms like the Mission or the Seeker may work better for you. I do like the roominess of the Mission. But I also like the weight and compactness of the EDP and the Mini.

So for me, Im kinda using the smaller lighter platforms for my more mobile situations and I’m using the larger platforms for presets. Not sure if that helps much. Good luck.

Just edited this as I see you already have the Seeker.

I did almost all last season on the seeker as I was fortunate enough to get one of the first ones and I love it. I’m a leaner and sitter. I want to try the smaller one to shave weight and just out of curiosity.
