What about using a couple of playground balls to fill up your bag? Pump em up hard at the truck. Should be nice and light. Or dunnage bags?

Got to work on the core for mine. Pool noodle pyramid held together with paracord and some nylon webbing (non rated) the face that is on the table is my hypothetical foot surface.20200213_213050.jpg

These bladders are tough! Still have much fine tuning to do
I like you use of the blood pressure hand pump. Not sure if you got that idea from my earlier posts, or maybe we both just hand the same idea. How’s it working for you?

Disregard! I see your posts (#66,67 and 68 on this thread). No, I didnt see those until just now, but my original post was #24 about the bladder.

Great minds think alike! I dont think there are anymore original ideas though brother. Thousands upon thousands of members here, all tryin to figure out how to climb and stand in a tree...theres bound to be some overlap!

Yeah I definitely agree! Wasn’t trying to take credit or anything, I was just saying it’s cool we had the same idea separately. I agree many of the same ideas are recirculated, just with small tweaks here and there.

Did what I was saying about the vacuum mattress instead of inflation make sense? I think it might be more rigid than inflation. I haven’t had time to make a prototype yet though

Getting to play with this in the daytime....it needs more stuffing which I have plenty at work so gotta wait till tomorrow to get it stuffed completely. I'll get a weight tomorrow also...
Can stand up on it and handles side pressure like champ. I had the women who sewed it put a small pouch to store the ocb buckle when not in use. Once I set it up and initial bounce to lock it in it....isn't moving
