Double steps for DIY sticks are here!

Awesome! Definitley interested in some of these, just spent a bunch of money on filming stuff, crap! Anyone have a complete parts list for DIY sticks?
 
For my first set I'm using the following (will have to check bolt lengths):
24" 6061 aluminum square tube - 1" x 1/8" wall
-Two 5/16" holes drilled at top and bottom (leave extra room at bottom if you want to stack them - at least 5/8")
-One 1/4" hole for versa button 1/3 of the way down from top or about 9.5"
(2) Double steps
(2) XOP climbing stick standoff brackets (or Lone Wolf)
(2) 5/16"-18 x 2" Grade 8 bolts with lock nut for steps and brackets - goes through double step on front and bracket on back
Versa button (can use Lone Wolf or DIY)
-1.25" fender washer (using stainless for mine)
-aluminum spacer (1/4" ID, 3/8" length)
-1/4"-20 x 1.75" Grade 8 bolt with lock nut
AmSteel 1/4" rope (or you could use Lone Wolf/XOP straps)

You could also use 1" x 1/16" wall aluminum but should probably add bushings or support in the 3 critical areas. I'll build a second set out of 1/16" and put 7/8" solid aluminum square stock inside at top, bottom and versa button location. With 1/8" thick walls, you could add weight reducing holes. I'm not going to as I'll use this set on my own property and leave them setup.

For three sticks? Probably a little more.

$40 each stick for Double Steps and Brackets = $127.25
Nuts/Bolts/Washers - $2 if bought in bulk
Spacers - $5 or cheaper if nylon
Aluminum - $10-12 for 6' stick
AmSteel -~ $20?
So more like $165
 
First batch will be shipping out on Thursday - he will be delivering 80-100 steps to me on Wednesday night. If he doesn't finish all 100 I'll get them on Sunday and ship out on Monday. Again, if there's interest for a second run, let me know so he can order material and have it ready.

Got mine as well. They are awesome. DanO was very easy to deal with and quick
 
Mine are due in Mon. Has anyone tried to replace the top step with DanO’s double step on lone wolf sticks? Do they just bolt on or are modifications required. I tried them thinking it would be much easier to have 2 steps to stand on while setting the Predator platform and the tether.

Not sure. Mine fit some 1 inch tubing perfect

I hope they fit because this is what I bought mine for....I should get mine Monday also
