Dumb thread injector questions

Well I tried using a sewing machine tonight for the first time.
I repaired a few things tonight. What thread and needles do I need for what purpose. I see on line Kevlar thread. Expensive. Is that what I want for webbing.
What needle do I need. Is this thread injector any good.

It most likely has all metal gears, which is what you want. I can't read the model and manufacturer info from your picture.

Polyester thread is what you want with a ball point needle for webbing. Biggest thing to remember is you need a needle that fits your machine to keep the timing right.

White made all metal machines back in the 50s so it should be good. I use size 18 or 20 universal point needles with V69 thread for sewing pants and socks and everything non life support. @always89y sewed Sally the saddle with V69 and did such a good job with plenty of stitches that I felt no anxiety when climbing a tree this week with her. I use size 20 needles with V92 Kevlar or polyester thread and it works great. Size 20s are easy to find on ebay. Kevlar was about $30 for a spool that I've barely made a dent in while sewing one saddle. Kevlar breaks at 30 lbs and polyester at 15 lbs.
Here is a thread I didn't see mentioned.

I forgot to mention that bonded thread is recommended and is very easy to find. I use v92 thread on my Juki for saddles with a size 22 needle.

Also check out the stickie sewing post. I believe it was referenced above and there is a lot of good information in there. Make sure you look at the sailrite post about sewing webbing. A lot of great info there and shows such patterns that are strongest. It also gives a formula for figuring out right estimate on breaking point.
