Wonder if the deeper fleece pouches like from EWO would fit to quiet em? They don’t weigh anything.Stealth strip the covers?? Wouldn't help with the hand warmer but would definitely make them quieter

If I remember right you’re the expensive sock guy? If not either way, I’d recommend Mystery Ranch. Mainly when they’re on sale. I have 500$ in a frame and two bags. If not I’d only have mid 300$. I’m usually not afraid to spend money on stuff but I personally don’t see the point in a some of these crazy expensive packs. Unless you would use it every hunt and not just for packing out. If money wasn’t an option I’d look hard at Exo Mountain gear. Even then I love my mystery ranch packs.
let me know how u end up liking them. I’ve heard some people say they arnt as warm as the first series but idk how true that is. I’d definitely like something to pack down better than my fanatic series. They look sweet!

Switched from Sitka and first lite to all wool and won’t go back. (At least anytime soon) cheaper wool military issue pants and older button downs to sleeping Indian and Filson pieces for late season.
Did you do a video review yet?
How does the Weather wool compare in weight to Filson?Same here! I had a bunch of Sitka and first lite stuff but was always cold! I am definitely cold natured but I had always read that Sitka was the best. I ended up doing research and found other people like me that tried wool and were very impressed happy. I sold all the Sitka and first lite and went to 100% wool. I wear two layers of wool thermals (top and bottom) wool sweater, king of the mountain wool overalls, Weatherwool Al’s anorak (the best!!!!), first lite wool neck gaiter, and a Filson tin cloth/wool waterfowl hat. I also have a Filson wool vest I can add. With this set up I’m super warm plus wool is silent. I’ll never go back to plastic clothing tor hunting again (besides rain gear).

Have you looked into doing the Carnivore diet?LIKES
-Scentlok saddle jack and pant with base layers. Good down to 40 without anything else. Very comfortable and the pockets are in the right place.
-Worksharp. Great for my hunting knives and two blade broad heads.
-Halo range finger. I've used it for years now and it works great.
-Rocky Boots 200g. They fit the bill and I've walked miles in them as well as pheasant hunted in them.
-Military assault pack, load bearing vest, medium pack, and large ruck. I use all of them for all different types of hunts.
-ColdAvenger masks! game changer for the colder days.
-NOTCH Saddle with a back strap. Did a couple all day hunts no problem.
-Sellstrom Ultra Flex III KneePro knee pads. I put them on over my base layer, under my pants. They are awesome. In the summer I put them right on my knees. The trick is to keep the bottom strap tight, the top loose.
-Minivan. Seriously I purchased a used minivan and I love it for hunting.
-basemap. Always has worked well for me.
-HHA sights. with my eyes seeing starbursts I can move the scope to let more or less light in to get rid of the starburst.
DISLIKES
-Tethrd platform. Used it for three months and it started to make noises. Tightened everything down, lubed it up, only lasted for a little while.
-Latitude method 2. After one full season it looks like it's already done. Latitude would not put a new bridge on for me either. That's too much money to be worn out 2nd season.
-My health. My health sucks. I'm sucking air all day long and the diabetes is kicking my ass. Shoulder pain, arthritis kicking in. I eat nothing but can't lose weight.
-Public land. need I say more? Asking to hunt private is about as rude as asking to sleep with the owners wife lol.
Ban unscented roll on is great as well+1 For the Tom's Unscented Deodorant. I like it so much better than any "Unscented Deodorant / Antiperspirant" that is marketed directly for hunters.
I almost posted the same thing. It can be life changing, especially in your situation. My cholesterol actually dropped 30 points too, so don't believe the haters.Have you looked into doing the Carnivore diet?
Two years for me in March. Only gets better. My wife and I have been on the carnivore diet for about 3 months and it has made a tremendous change in our Health!!
