Gold Tip trad only 600 spine dozen for only $42 on Amazon!!!

Some reviews state that they aren't full length shafts so be aware.
Gold tip sells most of their gold tip traditional shafts at 32" but they only make the 600s in 30.5". I'm guessing the people that are complaining are unaware of this. If you go to Three Rivers Archery and look at their spec chart you will see this info. Ill measure mine when I get them to confirm the length.

Add me to the camp that wasn't aware. Thanks for the info!

I can confirm this, measured them and they are 30.5.

I can't imagine needing a 600 spine arrow at 30.5".........I bet a 600@30.5" would fly weak out of a 20 lbs bow? Am I missing something here?

Have a great day!

I cant speak for others but in my case I use a 100 grain brass insert that is about 2" long and multiple F.A.C.T weights attached to the back of insert. This makes the insert and weights about 3.5 inches long. This makes the bending part of the arrow 3.5" shorter. This stiffens the arrow significantly. Combining 200 grains of insert and weights plus a 125 grain magnus stinger puts my total arrow weight around 500 grains (With A Gold Tip Warrior 600 shaft). This set up bare shafts well out of most of my bows up to 44 lbs. depending on how the shelf is cut. If my bare shaft shows a bit weak I can build out the shelf a bit and they fly true. I am not sure how much form affects dynamic spine but I know 600 spine gold tips have worked great for me with this configuration and they are very very high FOC. I am sure if a person used heavy heads with no internal weights the 600 would be weak for most 40ish lb setups. Especially if the bow is cut past center. Hope this makes sense.

I can’t upload the video, so here are screenshots that tell the story. This is a 20 yd shot with NO wind using a bare shaft GT 400, 100 gr insert, 150 gr tip.

FWIW: I’ve hunted with these arrows for years. Killed several elk with this same set up. But, I’ve never had a pass through. Now I know why!

@boyne bowhunter @Squirrels Any Chance I can get the previous post, as well as this one, moved to a new thread. I've managed to trample on the OP's message. I'm sorry about that!

Mods: please feel free to move this conversation to a better place, or new thread. I really want to hear more from my fellow stickbow friends regarding this topic (600 spine arrows with upper FOC).

I remain a NON-Believer until I see proof. :tearsofjoy: :tearsofjoy: :tearsofjoy:

There's no way to move an individual post to a new thread. You can start a new thread though. We already have a thread were people give the details on their 500 spine setups. It would be interesting to see a thread about 400 spine setups also. I shoot 400 spine with 300 up front out of my 44# bow but, I have close to a 30" draw.
