How are you carrying your phone when scouting and using OnX

Search tactical molle phone holder. One Tigress makes one, and there are other generics. I didn’t do much research, I just saw them the other day when I was looking for some molle clips for cinching my lineman’s rope to my saddle.

Oh I thought you mean generic versions that will install in my harness straps and flip down. The molle holders are just an extra pocket I have to get it out of

Thanks!

Right side thigh pocket of my wrangler stretchy britches. Never considered it being a chore to pull it out and tap the screen. I guess I could hire a man Friday to follow me around and carry it for me while he softly hums my theme music as I move artfully through the woods. But the pay would be terrible and the benefits even worse.

That may be what I'm missing - Stretchy britches. I've just been wearing man-pants (jeans). Now to go and find some yoga pants in my size.... :tongueclosed:

Pretty impressed with the Chicken Tramper Gear stuff. I currently use a zip one for my phone, and I just bought the Marsupial mesh pocket.

I've got one of these: https://alaskaguidecreations.com/products/alaska-classic-hbs-with-m-a-x-pocket that I use season round. My binos, range finder, knife, milkweed pouch, allen wrenches, release, headlamp, trail cam lock keys all fit inside. If I'm scouting, hunting, checking cams, it's on me. Phone slips easily into the elastic pocket on the top of the lid.

That looks pretty nice. I was trying out a Badlands Monster fanny pack for running cams, but I felt it was more cumbersome than beneficial so I went back to my backpack. Can you fit trail cams in it?

I think one could rig this to fit on a bino harness. Especially if there is a horizontal strap and buckle on the front.

No, it's just a bino harness. Just pockets for small stuff

5.11 makes a zip-up MOLLE admin pouch that holds a smartphone. Might be a touch small if you've got a substantial case, like Lifeproof or Otterbox or Juggernaut. Being soft MOLLE, presumably one could get clever wit paracord and OneWrap to attach it to your bino harness.

Personally I use a Garmin Rino on a carabiner, clipped to my bino harness. If/when the batteries die I just pop in new AAs and leave my phone in my pocket.
