I’m hoping to duck hunt out of mine. I do use it to access remote spots for deer, but I learned the hard way last year that when you paddle across a pond in November the other shore might be frozen...

I use a two person kyack, after taking a dip in a canoe with my kid in cold water. Super stable. If the banks are steep I will sit in the front and put my gear in the back. If the bank is flat I sit in the back, and can push shimmy my self up the bank.
Deer don't see to mind the ride out in the front seat either. I shot this one with my life jacket still on this year.
Sweet man! I’m very new to duck hunting so it’ll get me out there.I duck hunted out of mine for several seasons and loved it. I’ll try to find a picture. I sold it when I bought my duck boat and I’m regretting it.

That looks awesome! That’s my plan for this summer is to set mine up like that!
Nice!

Thanks! That was a pretty fun hunt. Scouted that spot with the canoe in the spring, came back in the fall and made it happen. Public land, about an hour-long paddle into that spot.
What brand kayak?

so funny to me that people avoid things like this on purpose. Half the fun in these hunts is the process. Type 2!

Not this one! I was close to having to make the decision of whether to save the deer or save my brother.
