I'm a Moron

For common calibers like .243 don't forget about Lee Loaders. I bought one when I bought my wife her .243, and I've picked up a few more over the years on the auction sites, and dusty shelves at the back of gun shops. Not quite as much control as a proper press and dies, but you can still turn out quality hunting ammo on a picnic table with a mallet and a dipper.

Cool! Can't believe I've never heard of those. I'm the kind of guy that DIYs about everything (esp related to hunting), but dealing with powder, primers, and projectiles is a bit intimidating, but I'll have to give this a try. Thanks!

I recently purchased .35 REM dies because I have not been able to find decently price ammo for my Marlin 336. When I have never reloaded before in my life......I accept that simply have 'stuff' bring me comfort.

Suck on that Marie Kondo..........respectfully

I too am a Moron.

I got into a bidding war over some Berger EOL .270 170gr bullets for a 6.8 western I've built. I don't even have all the equipment to reload yet but I know those bullets won't be around for a long time. I won't disclose the final amount but I am definitely a moron :tearsofjoy:
I switched a couple years ago to Berger, probably 90% of my rifles shoot them now, I have never experienced anything like them in my life, after 20 years of reloading I have no desire to switch to anything else any time soon, they are crazy accurate, the difference is real, I’ve spent a small fortune chasing accuracy and Bergers are hands down the cheapest way to get there.
