I’m shooting a maddog prairie predator 50@28. I’m somewhere around 27 400 spine arrow 100/125 heads and no matter what I do I’m always 5 inches right. Shooting 3 under groups are great just right

Instinctively Aiming at the heart.. what am I doing wrong

Arrow is too stiff. What’s your draw length? If 27” is your arrow length the 400 arrow is spined too heavy and too short. Even a 500 would be too stiff at that length. More tip weight probably won’t bring it in. A 500 spine 29 to 30 inches with at least 200 grains up front should put you in the ballpark. If you want a shorter shaft you’ll likely have to go down to a 600 spine

I see below you are left handed. I have some questions.

1. how long are your arrows?
2. Insert weight?

Before even reading your post about what hand you are my initial reaction was those arrows might be stiff with that tip weight. Seeing your left handed confirmed that with the bareshaft photos. I would put 200 or more grains up front and see. The maddog prairie predator is cut pretty well before center, so it’s going to want to eat a weaker arrow

If your draw is 27" with a 50@28" bow your somewhere in the range of 47#. I think you'd be better suited by a 500 spine with around 200 up front if you're wanting to stay relatively light (maybe more, but I think that would get you ball-park, and assuming your arrow is cut to around 28"). With your current 400s and a 28" (or so) arrow, I think you're going to need closer to 350, at the low end, up front to compensate.

Stiff shaft for that bow and riser is not center cut. You need to add at least 100 more grains I would start with 500 spine personally but if you can get the 400 to work then more power and what is your actually draw length cause if the shaft is 27 then draw weight at 28” then something isn’t right in my opinion

If possible. Bring your target up higher off the ground too so you aren’t shooting at a down ward angle. Or if there is a place you can paper tune nearby, that will help also.

@Red Beard. Is that RF test kit floating around still?
