ISO: Saddle Hunter Setup

I have recently gotten back into hunting from my childhood and am trying to put together a mobile setup for hunting public land. My wife and I are saving for a baby and funds are a little low at the moment. So I figured there's no harm in asking if anyone has anything they'd be willing to part with.

I am starting from scratch and have no saddle hunting equipment currently. I'm about to buy a used bow and will be working towards saving for a saddle setup. If anyone has anything they'd be willing to donate, I would be forever grateful.

Thanks and God Bless,
-Tyler

If you’re wanting to save money delete your account and run the other way.

If you decide to stay don’t skimp on rope or anything safety related.
Thank you for the advice! I wouldn't want to skimp on anything safety related at all. And you're not kidding on the money part. My quick math says round about $600 bucks all in for a complete setup if I buy brand new. ($100 for sticks, $350 Tethrd Harness Kit, $150 for platform)

All you will need is sticks/rope/platform.. buy sticks off here, I did, probably same with the platform ( If I dont beat you to it)

I am sending you a modified sit drag and choices of RCH.. what is your waist size by the way.. one of the RCH is a medium the other is adjustable

If you’re just getting started the fleece saddle and the harness you already have is a great way to hunt. I think that the fleece saddle is just as comfortable as any other saddle, and can be just as safe with a treestand harness.
Can confirm, got my first saddle kill in one. Peep the green fleece throw $2.50 from Walmart’s over my right thigh.
