It's just...a little crush... - Review of the JX3 Hybrid Saddle

A lot of guys say if they’re only there three or four hours they take a regular saddle if they are there longer than that they take the hybrid. I’m the type of guy if I’m only gonna be there even for one hour I want to be really comfortable. It makes me where I do not move or fidget thus giving me the chance to see more deer.
Aman brother........comfort is #1....that is why I have the Hybrid

I find it easy to sit still for the first few hours in a Mantis. I sometimes get a little squirmy after that. I have a numb left hip that starts to bother me even if I’m sitting in a Lazy Boy. I don’t think a JX3 will even help, but I want one anyway.

It will help and one advantage of the hybrid is you will sit still

Bigterp, will the load lifters and the improved seat hooks be standard on the newer JX3's ? Thanks for the review.
Pretty sure the @parkersdad mentioned load lifters on his & he was one of the most recent to get one. The seat hooks are a prototype & my vote would be yes. ( but that’s not my call)

I just got mine and neither of those improvements are on mine. No load lifters and short hooks for the seat.

Did you guys have to take out the fork stand off and reverse it? I’m pretty sure mine is facing the wrong way.

To clear things up mine did not come with load lifters, nor do I want them. I call load lifters what tightens my backpack straps so I guess I should have said back pack strap adjusters. Also the fork comes backwards for safety in shipping. You only need to hand tighten the nut on the screw on the back of the fork when you turn it around. One more thing, for you guys using the one stick method to climb I would buy the longer sticks and try them before you cut them down. I like the longer stick because it gives you something to grab onto and you can get higher with every move. That is unless you have an aider which I don't want to use.

I spoke with John about these improvements. He said the load lifters are in the design phase, and the longer seat hooks will be available soonish. He’s trying to figure out the best way to have users attach them. It’s gonna take drilling out the rivet and attaching new one w a screw/bolt. But nothing is definite yet

That makes me feel a bit better about the four Benjamins I just laid out for one. I'm counting on it being worth the impending doom.

Man am gonna be I in trouble with the boss. Might be in the market for a room to rent soon!

Just got my JX3 ordered. Never saddle hunted before. Old tree trimmer and lineman. So I should be able to make this work.

How do you order? Their website isn't taking any that I seen. Just an email to let you know when it's back in stock
