The Predator flexes almost none

I remember the opposite. I remember when I first got it holding on to the tree like my life depended on it. After getting comfortable with the level of flex, I was fine.

I feel the same about the ambush. I like them both.

I talked to Andrae. Just sent him another e-mail to see if i was missed.

Andrae called me back. Guess i was missed on the initial shipment. A replacement should be in the mail today.

Got my ambush. Looks damn good! Glad I decided to order another one.... now to try it on a tree...

Has a little flex standing on the edges but nothing unexpected. No popping or rubbing of the post like the first one I had.

So..... in case anyone was wondering. On my scale:

Weight of bare ambush: 4 lbs 9.9 oz
Weight with supplied buckle strap: 5 lbs 0.2 oz
Weight with buckle strap and supplied backpack straps: 5 lbs 8.5 oz

FYI... the back straps will no longer be included with the Ambush.

Looks lovely. It is marginally lighter than my Alpha.

How about some pictures with beast stiks mounted. I'm wondering how they will attach with the arm in the middle. Vertically with the teeth facing south I'm thinking.

No change? Take a look at these two pics the one with longer teeth is my gen one and the second pic is the gen 2. LWCG did make a change to the teeth. At least that is the way i see it.

ok... might be why it seemed easier to cam.

looks like the slot for the post might be a bit wider also.

also the box says Ambush 1.0. I wonder when we will see a 2.0?
