Shot a stag tonight. I think he’s down but it’s tough trying to find your last sighting mark in the dark out in the marsh. Had to be out by 9 so we’ll take the crew back to look in the morning.

Did anyone ask if they made exceptions on the out by 2100 rule for recovery of game? If the temps are up it seems to me they are legislating wanton waste. Sucks. Good luck finding the stag.

Most places will extend your time IF you have found the animal and in the process of getting it out. Then if they say got to go that’s facilitating wanton waste otherwise a person could track several hours passed cutoff and still not find there game.

There's a barrier island off the coast of Florida not 4 hours from me that does a drawing for sambaar deer. Watching this unfold has got me chomping at the bit to put my name in.
Good luck drawing for it I’ve been trying for a few years. But I have done the primitive hunt for deer, and will again this January it’s not an easy hunt.
