I ordered a medium H2 as well. 36” waist (actual measurement). Do you think it will be too small?

It was a tad small on me. It rode up pretty good. I would switch it to a large, it felt much better on me.

Sorry brother. This sport can be a heartbreaker sometimes.
I’m sick to my stomach. I spent till dark looking for any signs of a lethal hit. He trotted off after the shot, stopped at about 60 yards and then trotted off into the thicket. I’m going back out tomorrow morning and grid search that thicket to ease my mind. Such a bad feeling to wound one

Keep us updated on your findings. Who knows maybe the deflection hit an artery. Good luck in the morning.

JUST DEFLECTED MY ARROW, on a small oak branch. Clipped the brisket of a 10. I’m sooooooo mad, sad, flustered

That sucks. We’ve all been through something similar! Sounds like the deer is probably fine. Lots of season left!

44 degrees this morning. Couple hours in my Kestrel before work!... hope to catch them coming to bed.

Saw a couple of young ones chasing each other back and forth and 75 yards. That’s all. Time to go to work...

Maybe you missed completely. The way the deer reacted would suggest that. Did you find any hair or blood on arrow?

I heard the thump, and yes there was blood on the arrow. No air bubbles but a dark thin coating. To me it seems that it was muscle hit. I couldn’t find a single drop of blood in the entire area, even in the area of the thicket I watched him enter.

Just spent 4 hrs this morning grid searching and crawling thru thickets and spiders webs. No sign of him. As bummed as I am, I’m thinking he’s not mortally wounded

Sorry you didnt get the deer, hopefully he is still alive and you can get him down the road. With that being said the Buckstache is looking good....cant wait to rock mine,
15 days and counting...

Have you or can you get a dog to track for you??
