Nothing fancy, just a HYS strap with a hero clip.Any close up pics of your bow holder contraption? Please.
Ah yes that's the word I was looking for, but it looks like you put an extension on your hero clip? ...or am I seeing things?Nothing fancy, just a HYS strap with a hero clip.
No extension just a med size Hero clip. https://myheroclip.com/products/heroclip-medium?variant=29620870447169Ah yes that's the word I was looking for, but it looks like you put an extension on your hero clip? ...or am I seeing things?
Ahhhhhh upon closer inspection that thing I was seeing is your bow arms.....lol. I use a hero clip sometimes too.No extension just a med size Hero clip. https://myheroclip.com/products/heroclip-medium?variant=29620870447169
I couldn't remember if that clip was a large or medium but I believe you are right about the large clip offering the clearance you need.Looks like he's running similar to the one I use for bow holder & gear. HYS strap and large hero clip. The large hero clip holds 100lbs but more importantly provides clearance for a bow with the quiver attached.

Welcome! That’s pretty sweet. Your nearest neighbor might be the fella from NZ. You should throw up a post in the new member thread.Hi from Melbourne Australia. I don't know anyone in Aus that saddle hunts (I'm sure there are a few people). This is me scouting for the fallow rut that's about to occur (April: our fall). Saw 3 deer, but all the wrong species (Sambar Hinds) and too far for a shot (Bear 1964 Grizzly #51 @28). Recently started one sticking (off a cut down Helium) climbing on my rappel line. Rappeled out using a figure 8 backed up with a michoacan on my LB loop. Thanks for everyone's tips and tricks! It's made for some memorable hunting and I can't wait to see how I can utilise the saddle and the excellent resource you all provide moving forward.
Thanks!
