I’ve noticed hourly reports from the weather channel or local forecasters are much more accurate .
OnX in my area is noticably inaccurate for waypoints I set optimal wind on.

Huntstand was wrong for me tonight. Accu weather was right.

The best and most reliable weather and wind data down to the hour has been with Weather Underground. I really like their ten day forecast feature too.

oddly enough 15 min later it started shifting back so maybe just a swirl or something, I don’t know but it blew my chance

Last night had a small 8(maybe not a true 8 size wise) chasing 2 does, grunting like crazy. Never actually heard one grunt before in the wild. Release wasn’t locked completely, had a premature shot.

All this weather talk has me thinking it's time to set up another weather rock. Quite possibly the most accurate weather station you can have in real time. however it's predictive capabilities are a bit lacking.

Blessed to see another November sunrise. 20 yards downwind of a scrape and the bucks are feeling frisky. Have a decent 8 bedded at 35 with a doe 5 yards behind him.

Beautiful morning in Rochester NY. Had a little fork drop by earlier. Wind is starting to switch and swirl. Might need to call it for the a.m.

Parked next to the barn at 6am. I hear two bucks having a throw down. Didn't go as far into the woods as I wanted. Saw a buck towards the back. Then later came back around the other side I think. Went right by my ladder stand I set. Oh, and the pre set line I had set closer. Seen a coyote as well. Wind is starting to pick up some. Suppose to be gusty. South wind really limits good spots to sit here. But I'm enjoying the he day so far.

Checking in actually from the tree this time. Weather rock station has not yet been built. Hope today's forecast is deer!

Edit: I have a friend that just ran down the hill and is staring at me. She's bitty so I'm not shooting...
And she's walking off without blowing and her tail down whew good thing she's young!

Rain quit and I’m hoping they come to feed. I have had a camera on this tree behind me for about a month and they’ve still be eating under it consistently. Acorns still dropping and seems to be about half are still good.
