I don’t know if it’s the angle or if you run that bridge so short it’s making me question things on my end! All about what’s comfortable to each person though for real. Good luck

What’s the seat on that windwalker you’re “runnin” @BTaylor?I don’t know if it’s the angle or if you run that bridge so short it’s making me question things on my end! All about what’s comfortable to each person though for real. Good luck
I was scrolling through my phone looking for this thread when I noticed a doe had slipped in on me. Killed her.
It’s hand warmer season here too. Glad to have it back.View attachment 92220
Same tree, different platform. Set up earlier than usual and I’m consequently a little too far to the right of my bow hook. Oh well. It’ll take some calibration. Speaking of which, it’s also the first hunt fully loaded in the RM1. I think my accessory cord is a bit elongated and it’s throwing off my prusik height. So RM it is. Still requires calibrating too. I do have a nifty handle now above that lol. Probably a short hunt this morning, I’m freaking cold.
I planned for everything BUT my fingers…dopey move. It’s hand warmer season here too. Glad to have it back.
Bridge is cinched down short on purpose whether I am on my platform or a stand. If I am on the mission I set my tether about collar bone high, keep the tether short and adjust the bridge on the bridge loops to get the feel right. That almost eliminates any chance of rope interference drawing the bow in almost any position. On that stand or any other I can and depending on the tree will set the tether a little higher because I can get farther off the tree and keep the rope angle low for draw clearance. That tree my tether was a few inches over my head because the trunk split into three and I set the tether there. Figured that out while I was using the fleece saddle. With a bridge on it I had some issues with draw clearance. I took the bridge off and just clipped straight to the loops on the end of the fleece and it worked WAY better for me. Now that I have a real saddle I set it up to function in a similar fashion. It's all about what works best for the individual but if you think your saddle doesnt fit or work well, play with all the options to adjust it.I don’t know if it’s the angle or if you run that bridge so short it’s making me question things on my end! All about what’s comfortable to each person though for real. Good luck
That's a Lone Walker stand This weekend was the first hunts on the 1S Mission (1 sticking mission) and the Lone Walker both worked very well. I do need to tighten the platform on the mission a bit though but otherwise tickled with both. I will say the Lone Walker will almost certainly end up being my go to unless it is a scout and hang type hunt. What’s the seat on that windwalker you’re “runnin” @BTaylor?
