I am holding onto my predator. I notice Sunday that it does sqeak and pop while moving on it now. Mine used to not do that.

Lol. I'll be honest. I kinda regret selling g the sticks. But I have a feeling if I had them again, I'd hate actually using them.

I don't know why I keep trying sticks and a platform. I guess so many folks are using then I feel like I'm missing something??

The biggest draw back about sticks IMO is packing them in. different conversation for a different thread though. Hope the ambush lives up to the hype.

100% agree--and even more so packing them out. its easy to be meticulous the evening before when getting your gear together in how you strap them on... and yes...different thread...

I"m also thinking on smaller trees because of its width it will feel like a ROS with a foot on either side of the tree. This is my comfy spot, and what I missed with the treesuit platform and the various DIY ones I built.

And.... @100rollie swears by the assasin, so I"m willing to try anything he recommends and likes.

Given history the will be some oversell and some will not get in on the 150. The price is keeping folks away. But there are people paying 400 plus for a assassin.
 
It will be the best commercially produced platform on the market. No question.
