I picked up two this year luckily enough....Sold my Assassin and I'm kicking myself for it. The latest isn't always the greatest.

Certainly you want to sell one of those?I picked up two this year luckily enough....
Thanks btw, but it sure doesn’t feel like a noodle....... I’m not an ounce counter & I don’t really notice a big difference when carrying. But yes it’s much beefier & heavier than other available options. Curious to see how the mission compares.I had an assassin it was like carrying around a treestand. It like 7lbs+
I think I’ll hang on to them for the time being... haha actually found one brand new in the box with the original harness never opened.Certainly you want to sell one of those?
Definitely pulls the pucker stringThat makes me pucker.
He called me like 3 times too. I'm a nobody. He told me about the buttons that were going out, I expressed hown dissapointed I was in the overall quality and hownitnlooked like the holes were all drilled freehand. He agreed 100% and asked what I wanted to do. I asked for a refund. I had a prepaid.ups label and a full refund within 3 hours. He did me right, I was happy even though I was bummed the platform didn't work out.Well you know, he's probably seen your overwhelming influence and power among the discontented, soul-searching, gullible, money burning, saddlehunter.com community and that makes you da belle of da ball
Well, there is a replacement for it.....Sold my Assassin and I'm kicking myself for it. The latest isn't always the greatest.
Just a side note, stepping behind the pivot point on any platform can cause this same issue.Do not step behind the pivot point on the platform or it will drop like a trap door. Like when you swing around the back of the tree.
A safety pin/bolt could have been incorporated to the underside of the platform to keep this from happening.
I made a cinch strap from the platform to the post to keep the rear from falling away, but it's not ideal.
The second strap helps, but the platform can still kick out and loosen up. But at least it won't totally fall away.

I think it depends on the tree and how you set it. I've never folded it up. It can happen on any platform that cams over with a post. If I ever think there is a concern about it folding I can run Amsteel on those lower tabs to keep it from folding up.
Link?Saw on Facebook a second one snapped in the same place.
