I think that takes them off my list, too. My weight fluctuates between 225 and 240, with gear I'd definitely be pushing it or over.it definitely said 300. Now I am going to have to cancel my order
Now that is kinda funny. Change the spec after they are sold out. Makes novix release today look good. What did they design them for kids and women. Gotta feeling they will be in stock again real soon after people see that. A lot of people will push over 250 with pack clothes and gear going up tree.
Well... I read the specs over several times pretty thoroughly early this morning while I was taking a dump and can tell you 100% sure it did not say it had a 250 lb limit.
Now I am not sure if it said 300 it may have not even had the rating on there at all I am 50/50 on that. I know the 250 rating would had popped out at me if it was there.
You weren't seeing things it said 300 earlier in the day.
Seriously guys.....most (all) stick designs rely on either 2 or 4, 1/4 20 bolts to hold all your weight.....these are 4 3/8 or larger bolts...what are u worried about?
Im not getting those either way, but for them to change the weight ratings on their product after they have sold out, potentially effecting hundreds if not thousands of people, who bought them for the 300# rating is kinda garbage.Seriously guys.....most (all) stick designs rely on either 2 or 4, 1/4 20 bolts to hold all your weight.....these are 4 3/8 or larger bolts...what are u worried about?

Maybe....I guess. I know I can easily shear a 1/4 bolt with a 3/8 drive ratchet and have a extremely hard time shearing a 3/8. I also know I can take a 4" long 1/4 bolt and a 4" 3/8 bolt and can easily bend the 1/4 and eventually break while much more difficult with the 3/8. I will never own these and could care less about them but gotta give props to a company when they do a good job. IMO these are the best sticks available currently and if I was going to buy sticks I'd get these....as far as the changing the specs on weight capacity that is strange....I'm not affected so doesn't concern me..4 1/4 inch bolts under tension are stronger then 4 unsupported 3/8 bolts. Remember their stupid buttons bending like crazy. Big difference in the amount of force something can take when torqued and supported versus untorqued and unsupported.
