It will be $100 more and the crossover will be $1,500
Wow! That's nuts. The Crossover was already 50% too high, lol. I've never even considered it due to having an old school Assault II hand climber. I'm sure the Crossover is nice, but it's not twice as nice. A $100 increase on a $500 stand is 20%. That would put their full size stand $100 more than the Beast stand, right? That's a pretty steep jump. Maybe they'll sell 20% fewer stands for 20% more money and break even? The .5 I bought is nice, but it was priced at about the max I'd be willing to pay for a stand...any stand. It will be $100 more and the crossover will be $1,500
Probably never, for me.When does the price increase hit?
Looking for some minimalist backpack straps for my ambush? Anyone carry there’s this way?
Trying to find some straps at Walmart, academy, cabelas, that would work to carry it in this way on these last 2-3 sits. It warmed up a bunch so I would just go in wearing my saddle and ambush on the straps.
Nice, yea I think I could probably sew something up if I had the time but sewing machine is pretty covered in junk atm.I got pretty bored and made some with a bunch of extra webbing and straps for a similar idea. Based on the Kifaru e&e straps, but never used/finished them. I’d probably need an ambush in hand to figure out the rest though. Might give you some ideas….
The top is easy to figure out with a girth hitch similar to the way CG straps connect to their stands and a single gatekeeper, the bottom length and connection method is where I’d need an ambush to know.
I have some latitude straps for sale if you want themLooking for some minimalist backpack straps for my ambush? Anyone carry there’s this way?

Did you use it like a platform or a stand?I went out for a pig hunt today and took a little time beforehand to play around with setting up the .5 in a little oak situated in a thicket. I used three Cranford rope steps and set the platform standing on the ground. It was a pretty fast and efficient setup. It looks sorta funny that low and maybe it is, but I think in some of these thickets with early season cover it might be all I need. It'd be pretty sweet if I can make that type of set up work. I know Dan Infalt hunts about this high fairly often in swamps and Cody Dequisto doesn't get too high up either. I think Cody is using 2 of the micro sticks and maybe an aider. I like the content he has on his Dying Breed Bowhunter Youtube channel.
A stand. I didn't hunt out of it today, I just practiced setting it up.Did you use it like a platform or a stand?
I have the Fix, Tethrd One Sticks, and a $500 LWCG gift card. Can't decide if I want to get a LWCG hang on (0.5 or 0.75) OR the compact doubles. Any thoughts??
I have a .5 and 1.0, used a .75 for 2 sits and can’t see why anyone would choose it over those 2. The .5 has better cable placement making the stand feel not much smaller than the .75…..especially if you are using it hybrid. The 1.0 gives you more width for and it’s just 3 ounces heavier. It’s def more comfortable sitting longer and you can’t tell the difference on your back.
The correct answer is probably get the stand and down the road the sticks.
Worth to waiting to last minute with this gift card to see what other offers they drop?
