Mobile Blind Setups - Gobblers

A half blind is illegal in PA? I didn’t realize that. Any idea on the reasoning?
I assume it's for safety. We have to sit and call no stocking. We don't have to wear blaze orange in the spring but I wear a hat whenever I'm moving just in case.

Everything I clicked on for him was Yahoo Japan lol. Not sure what that's all about.
He owns bi-polar broadheads. I know he teaches seminars on the topic, I would think he has some information out there somewhere.

Do you have a pic from the other side of the blind?? I ended up getting a ghost blind and plan on using it in a few weeks with my son

I actually walked up and looked back to see what he was seeing and didn't snap a pic. I will next time. I think it looked pretty good for turkey hunting. Deer may not have loved it. A hen walked by just passed the decoys and didn't seem to mind. I would have rather been on the other side of the fence but the wire is right in my shooting window.. of course. On Wednesday, same set, I had what believe was the same bird come out at 35 yards. Worked all the way from left to right into the woods and back across again 15 mins later. Never in bow range for me. Maybe I need to practice that 35 yard head shot

100% serious. Get you a gobbler lounger and be still.

I’ve sat on my butt up against a fence post in a pasture and had a hen step over my legs.

With the seat pictured above you don’t even need a tree to lean back on. Now, I would recommend having a tree at your back, but a lot of times those trees flare out at the bottom or have roots in the way and this seat lets you get away from those obstructions and still have something to lean back into.

They were $29 before they became popular so shop around. Rogers has them for $39 or so. I think they’re $59 at Cabelas now.
I love the crap out of my turkey lounge. Makes a good camp chair, and the lean makes it easy to look for squirrels up in the treetops.

Well I picked up a ghost blind for the hunts on 1 piece of property that running and gunning is not an option. I just set it up for tomorrow’s hunt. I’m pretty impressed with it!

Good luck tomorrow!! Its the last weekend of our season

It's doesn't provide a ton of cover, but I carry a tree umbrella with me. Fits in my backpack and has a dual purpose. Can pop it in front of me and use as a blind or use as it's intended and stay dry while hunting in the rain.Screenshot_20190503-215744_Chrome.jpg

Bows and blinds, Oh boy I have video of one such hunt whole flock in front of me. Tom gets to with in yards . I shoot and hear the hit as the tom flys away. The hit was the lip of my blind window..lol
have any of you tried .aking your own ghost blind?,if so how'd it turn out?

I tried. Wood option was way too heavy and not worth it in my opinion. I also tried using plastic corrogated cardboard, which was lighter but you really need the backer between the reflective portion and the corrogated portion. It is wrinkled and doesn't work as well. I broke down and bought one. I would say save your money and if you want one buy it.

Mission accomplished, run and gun, no blind with the bow, worked on several other birds too, but had 2 miss and didnt present shots on the other occasions, but this was an awesome season, I will never hunt turkeys any other way ever again, tactics learned from close proximity tv, and I did learn that Tim Knight was the originator of these methods, he wrote the book Bowhunting Turkeys A to Z, @will4554

I knew I had seen something with him. That's awesome! I need to get after them like that!
