YEh it might be my next purchase as well.... It never ends really does it?
So, I have a Kite, but really wanted to try out a Yarak this year. These guys have missed the boat, seems they have a bit of "over promise, under deliver" mentality. I'll be purchasing a back up saddle, but it will either be another Kite or a Trophyline. I'm not holding my breath for a Yarak anymore. Also, if you have issues with product from either of these companies, you can get a hold of someone.
Nah, I'm out. They made a pretty big deal about the lottery, then full stop. And realistically, IF I were to purchase one, and have an issue, good luck getting a hold of them. I bought brand new Stepps from them this past year, have issues with multiples (paint / anodizing chipping off) and I'm not even going to deal with the hassle. I emailed their customer service a couple times over the summer about something else and the responses, when I got them, were less than timely. After that experience, I was still willing to try another WE product, but as I've sat back and watched this play out, I've formed my opinion that while it may be a nice product, I don't want to purchase it. Also, I have plenty of patience, I'm not buying a primary, but a backup. I understand the backlog, however, crickets since the lottery.Unfortunately due to the long wait times that Aerohunter (Our manufacturer) is experiencing because of the time of year (hunting season) it's obviously going to affect the production of the Yarak. Not a whole lot to say other than it's the same issue that all made in the USA saddle hunting companies have had and continue to have. For this reason, Wild Edge has been reluctant to put out another release date because transparency with the customers/supporters is important to us. However, it is coming and it is worth every bit of the wait! As far as getting in contact with Wild Edge, you can PM me anytime with questions and I will contact Drew or Greg and get them answered for you.
Nah, I'm out.
