I didn't see the backband on the web site . Do you have to order that separate? It's a race now for those of us that ordered on Tues night to see who gets theirs first.
The backband prototypes look nice too.

Small rope prusiks still work with webbing, not the same requirements as a prusik on a tether.Someone mentioned it before, but I'm still curiouis how the backband will attach when using the adjustable webbing bridge. Or maybe it can just clip into the biner...
When I ordered my flex on Wednesday she said the back band isn't out yet. I told her I would like one so before mine is shipped she would either call or email me if it's available yet and the price. It sounded like they were being developed and close to being sold.I didn't see the backband on the web site . Do you have to order that separate?
Not taking anything away from the flex but I much prefer tethrd’s attachment method for the back band.

I do too. Those mini carabiners are junk
The Kestrel Flex kit with back band is listed as available on the Aerohunter site now.

It is a common practice, but in this case it is not well implemented. Inventory drains dollars, but so do backorders or orders that never get placed because people can go with a substitute product.
I called Debbie and she had no problem changing my order to the kit. Great customer service!

I saw that I’m going to call and see if I can add the backband to my flex order
