It's a race now for those of us that ordered on Tues night to see who gets theirs first.

The backband prototypes look nice too.

Well I just finally had some time to read this thread. The spring green up has kept me extremely busy this year. When I'm not cutting grass I've been catching up on stuff around the house or sleeping. Only to finally get on Saddle Hunter again to find out that now I need to buy yet another saddle. I think the thing that intrigues me the most is the pleat allowing it to expand from top to bottom much like an Anderson. I may or may not order this before the July discount Runs Out. And who the hell are all these new people? I don't recognize half of the names on this place anymore. I guess all I really need to know is if I'm 6ft tall and 200 pounds what size should I order? Or am I allowed to ask questions that are not directed specifically to the company? Anywho it's good to be back. I missed some of y'all, and then there's that @huck72412 guy.

Welcome back. I was just musing the other day about how some of the "veterans" on here seem to disappear and a bunch of new contributors are popping up and I actually thought of you as an example of that. That's not a bad thing but just kind of how life seems to work. Its good to hear from you again.

It looks like with 1-2 weeks out, options on saddle and well built, the kestrel may have just eaten the mantis.

I am tempted to buy the flex but with a Colorado elk hunt coming this year...I best play my cards right. FOMO is probably the biggest reason I want it and that’s probably not the best motivation. Someone do a review and change my mind when you get it will ya?!

I would much rather a Colorado elk hunt & no flex!! Just think you can buy one here when everyone sells them for the next saddle launch

Worked midnights last night got to bed at 7am got woke up three times by 10am, busy family and a 2 year old make night shift sleeping a drag. Won a new badlands pack on eBay talked myself into ordering the flex... hopefully it’s more comfortable than my kestrel clone if not it will be for sale lol.. Told my wife the bag and this saddle should complete my set up... She didn’t believe me!

I had a guidos web and sold it and bought a Jx 3 which is better... I will not sell it.
I had an aero hunter and sold it and bought a Kestrel size 1

I had a Kestrel size 1 and bought a size 2 so I sold the size 1 which was too small
I had a Manits large and sold it and bought a mantis x large... which is better
I sold the size 2 kestrel which I loved but always seemed to reach for the light mantis on short hunts or the JX 3 on long sits.
I wish I did not sell the size 2 kestrel but I have a flex kestrel coming to replace it and I am a sitter
Moral of the story the only mistake in sales was the size 2 kestrel.
The only mistake in purchases... all the saddles I sold except the kestrel size 2

That is the opinion of a saddle sitter with no butt and wide hips and old age.

If I don't use it I sell it.... When I get the flex I will have 3 saddles again... If I order something else I will sell one.

I like my original Guido's Web and I don't think I would like the hard plastic shell. The only thing I would change in the Guido's Web is an adjustab whales tail.

I have had both. The Jx3 is much better

I also like the rope. I added the prussic kit to my kestrel and ordered the flex with the adjustable rope. Looks like the rope is spliced on the new saddle.

Yes I'm not going to change order. I'll keep rope bridge. Web still looks interesting but I'll go with what I've used. Thanks for help.
