Same here. I can see people dropping things - pull your tether out of the pockets and watch a bunch of stuff fall to the ground.

I like the pockets think I would only keep my tether and lines belt in it personally and feel it’s great for that. I’m not someone that likes crap hanging off my saddle tho

If/when the attachment ears break off, the sticks are useless. I see that as a big weak point.
