I sold all my saddles in favor of the beast stand. In hindsight I regret selling them all as a stand isnt perfect for all situations. I will get another saddle this year but generally will use the stand 85% of the timeWho is going back or has went back to a stand from a saddle? All these nice stands coming out
That's my hope, but I was also annoyed they didn't do it for us in the video. No matter how hard I try I still seem to clink my carabiner off a stick or one stick about every other trip out at least, so any less metal noise the better (well and getting better about woodsmanship and all that but this is a gear thread)Lol, they "talk" abt the noise, why not demonstrate it, like hit them together! Cmon! To be fair and with my carbon experience, they'll likely sound like 2 wooden sticks hitting each other.
And they said they were coming out with longer standoffs and metal steps for the C1/A1 sticks. Those items have't materialized yet.
I've got 4 of their C1 sticks with the deeper standoffs...
How do I know if my are deep or original ? I've never noticed the depth being an issues but I'm only a giant in my own head pretty sure size 10 boots will be ok on most anythingI've got 4 of their C1 sticks with the deeper standoffs...
Mine are only 2 7/16. Thanks for the info! You can see the standoff depth is just over 4 inches. The only reason I stealth stripped them is because I was concerned about glare on sunny days.

Unpopular opinion…I think I like the xop climber better than the lwcg. Only a 3lb difference and bigger platform. Still folds flat. Half the price.

They need to hack that seat down so you have room to stand up…lol. It’s like having a lonewolf alpha base and using an assault as a seat.
I'll double checkThat's odd. I thought the original standoffs were 3.5"
They state the top of the stand is designed to be a climbing saddle platform. 5 lbs. Pretty interesting.
