New Gear for 2023, Go!

Anyone have any info on the LWCG patriot series stands? Or did I miss it?

Budget stands all they released was a teaser of a raw platform. Looks liked machined version of the old sandcast stuff.

I do not see the Latitude sticks on the TMA website. They could still be in testing.
And I do not see any LWCG products listed.

I’m curious if companies are doing what I would do, which is get testing protocols/acceptable results, and test my product to meet/exceed those standards, then tell people I’ve done TMA testing and met/exceeded those requirements.

I thought one of the things to get the TMA cert was to provide a harness with the stand and LWCG doesn’t.

TMA certifies the third party testing facility has the ability to test. Mfr sends product to be tested under an applicable ASTM spec for that item. Products are not certified. Just tested at a trusted testing facility.

The TMA does not design, certify, approve, test, review, or provide any customer service for any products.

Yup.

And the branding made sense as a symbol of trustworthiness pre smart phone/internet everything.

Now everyone from manufacturer to supplier to testing facility to brand ambassador to neighbor who uses the product is subject to intense public scrutiny. The “tma cerified” stamp has lost much of its signal strength.

It’s a good way to crowd out competition still, because most people still think it’s a barrier of entry.

But I’m positive that some companies have figured it out.

Nah. Just pair these broadheads with their arrow inserts, which is just “punching a hole through the atmosphere”……1:00 mark….

So he fixes the noise issues with vented broadhead by making a solid head. But the adds whistle holes to the back of the heads and then more of the holes at the rear of the arrows?

The aluminum oxide coating won't do crap for durability. The guy at bishop broadheads sent me prototype holy Trinity 200 gr heads thats s7 tool steel coated with a material that is well over 100 Rockwell hardness. My first shot at a deer with them completely bent the tip and the one blade is severely chipped. I dont believe any expensive head is worth it because 1, they're way too easy to lose, and 2 I've yet to have expensive heads hold up. However, a caveat to this is I shot them out of a 190ke crossbow which is dramatically more impact force than any bow out there.

I have solids I stocked up on about 10 years ago. I have 13 left. They also doubled in price. But I love those heads. Free sharpening and reconditioning for life..
